Summary (Plain English)

We don't collect your personal health data. All calculator inputs—your weight, height, body measurements, body fat percentage, and results—are processed entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. This data is never transmitted to our servers, never stored in any database, and disappears completely when you close the page or refresh your browser.

We designed the calculator this way intentionally. Body composition data is personal, and there's no reason for us to have access to it. Information We Don't Collect

To be clear about what we do NOT collect or store:

  • No account required: You don't need to sign up, log in, or create any kind of account to use this calculator.
  • No health data stored: Your weight, height, body measurements, body fat percentage, lean mass calculations, protein recommendations, and all other calculator inputs and outputs are never sent to our servers.
  • No personal profiles: We don't build profiles on users, track your calculator usage over time, or correlate your visits with any personal identifiers.
  • No financial information: The calculator is completely free. We don't process payments or store financial data.
  • No location tracking: We don't access or store your precise location.

Information That May Be Collected

While we don't collect your calculator data, some basic information may be collected through standard web technologies:

Server Logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) maintains standard server logs that may include your IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages visited. These logs are used for security purposes, troubleshooting, and basic analytics. They are retained for a limited period and are not used to identify individual users or track your calculator inputs.

Analytics

We may use privacy-focused analytics to understand general usage patterns—such as which pages are popular, what countries visitors come from, and what devices are commonly used. This helps us improve the site. Any analytics we use are configured to be privacy-respecting: no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking, and no data sold to third parties.

Contact Form Data

If you choose to contact us through the contact form, we collect the information you voluntarily provide:

  • Your name (as you enter it)
  • Your email address
  • The subject you select
  • Your message content

This information is processed by Formspree, a third-party form handling service, and forwarded to us via email. We use this data solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not share your contact information with third parties, add you to marketing lists, or use your email for any purpose other than responding to your message.

Vercel (Hosting)

Contact form submissions are processed through Formspree. When you submit the contact form, your submission is transmitted to Formspree's servers and forwarded to us. You can review Formspree's privacy policy for details.

We do not currently use advertising networks, social media trackers, or other third-party services that would track your behavior across websites.

Cookies

This website uses minimal cookies:

  • Essential cookies: Our hosting provider may set cookies necessary for the website to function properly, such as load balancing or security cookies.
  • No tracking cookies: We do not use cookies to track your behavior, build advertising profiles, or identify you across websites.
  • No third-party advertising cookies: We don't display ads and don't allow advertising networks to set cookies on our site.

Your browser settings allow you to control or block cookies. Blocking cookies should not affect the calculator's functionality since all calculations happen in JavaScript without requiring cookies.

Children's Privacy

This website is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information through the contact form, please contact us and we will delete that information.
